BUY-TO-LET is the initiative devised by the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and supported by a panel of leading mortgage lenders. Now commonly used as the term for most mortgages suitable for domestic property investing.
In our opinion there is a lot of opportunity for long term landlords to reap rewards. Property prices are still relatively quite low and mortgage lending is currently a little bit restricted, but the signs are that the lending is being relaxed with companies returning to the BTL market. Interest rates are historically low and house prices have fallen in the last few years.
Landlords should see this as an opportunity to take advantage and build wealth for the future.
